Anew type MOA.
A new type 10kV polymer housed MOA without gap
has been developed according to meet Shanghai power
system.
It special characteristics as following:
·High cantilever load withstand
·Can be use as the substitute for pin type insulators,post
type insulators or cross-arm insulators.
10kV post type MOA polymer housed without gaps
is desired in machinery strength in order to be
insulator.There are severerconnecting metal fittings
to meet different requirements.
The MOA type YH5W-17/50JM is used to protect insulated
transmission line from over-voltage damage,as shown
if figl.When installed,the insulated line passes
through the top hole of MOA,and the insulating layer
of the line inside the hole is broken by the stainless
pins of the nut of MOA when it is tightened.Then
excellent contact between MOA terminal and transmission
line is obtained.The bellow bolt(bottom bolt )of
MOA is connected and fixed with the cross-arm grounded
the earth.
The MOA typed YH5W-17/50 DZ shown in fig2 is used
for connection of cable by cable and to protected
it from over-voltage damage.
The MOA typed YH5W-17/50 ZZ shown in fig3 is used
concurrently for post insulator as normal.
